The Primary and Secondary Cutter
The function of this combine cutter is to cut in two successive steps the 640 lb blocks into long cheese bars.
The P-640 primary cutter cuts the cheese blocks into vertical columns using high tensile piano wires and specially designed wire holder (patent pending). Various column size width can be produced namely 5.5 in., 7.33 in., 9.33 in. and 11 in. Product format can be change in less then two minutes.
The X-11 cheese bar profiler cuts the cheese column into long slender bars. The dimension of the bar heights is programmable and is usually is a common denominator of 28 inches: 4”, 3.5” 2.8” 1.4”... Change-over for change in bar height dimension is automatic.
